What Can You Make From A Single Bamboo Stalk?

1 bamboo stalk makes roughly .6 KGS of fabric. For example, one bamboo stalk can make 5 bamboo T-shirts. With 61 Million stalks to choose from that's a lot of naturally soft and sustainable fabric.

The Most Renewable Resource On the Planet!

When you think of bamboo, you probably think of something tall, hard, and green growing out of the ground. But, did you know that bamboo is one of the most sustainable, renewable resources on the planet and can be made into one of the world’s most eco-friendly, luxuriously soft fabrics?

Global Partners

Our raw bamboo is grown in the Sichuan province of China. It's then turned into bamboo fiber in China's Hebei province. From there, the fiber is woven and spun into yarn all over the world, not exclusively in China. We work with trade partners in the U.S., Turkey, Mexico, India and China.

Understanding the Environmental Impact

Absolutely. Bamboo is a renewable resource that grows incredibly fast, yielding a regular, high harvest. Bamboo is also effective at removing greenhouse gases from the air and producing oxygen. In many places, it’s also used to help control soil erosion because of how its root system works.

Bamboo is an extremely environmentally friendly resource and has helped take many steps toward a more responsible industry. It’s generally considered to be a more ethical fabric than many others on the market.

The speed in which bamboo grows is nothing short of amazing. Some species of bamboo, once they reach maturity, can grow up to 4 feet in a day.

Most bamboo used for fabric comes from Southeast Asia (mostly in China).

The bamboo that’s used to manufacture goods is harvested from controlled crops. Bamboo grows fast enough that there is plenty for your clothes without using the naturally occurring fields.
